Why that's Mysterious Mose!

There's a man of mystery that's roaming through the land,
Far and near you hear of him; he's found on every hand;
Every city, town and village knows of him by now!
There's a way to recognize him; let me tell you how:

Now if your path at midnight dark, by a graveyard goes,
And someone whistles, "Whoooooo!"
Why that's Mysterious Mose!

For on some dark and stormy night, while the tempest blows,
If someone whistles, "Whooooo!"
That's Mysterious Mose!

He sees all, he knows all; he's gets in everywhere;
Now some night, he might, wait for you upon the stair!

So when you're going down the cellar, walk upon your toes,
And if someone whistles, "Whooooo!"
That's Mysterious Mose!

Wakes from the sleep, by the 'peep peep peep', of a flute from down below
If someone whistles "Whooooo!"
Why that's Mysterious Mose!

Now if at dawn, on an early morn, a trumpet softly blows
If someone whistles "Whooooo!"
That's Mysterious Mose!

He sees all, knows all, perhaps a clarinet,
or a base horn, or anything that he can get

He plays on every instrument but there's just one tune he knows
When someone whistles "Whooooo!"
That's Mysterious Mose!

When someone whistles "Whooooo!"
That's Mysterious Mose!

merely truth....

There's something wrong with me. I'm not quite certain what it is. All I know for certain is that I'm not right in the head. I'm not normal. Sometimes it feels like I can't do anything right. That whatever I try to do will always fail somehow for one reason or another. Also throughout my whole time in college I have been afflicted by a feeling of enmity though there is no reason for it. I can be laughing and smiling one second and then choking back words filled of hate and rage. Sometimes I want to scream and swear and shout and cry all at the same time and why? I don't know. I've never known. So far I've been able to mostly control myself except for the occasional outbursts that are dismissed as mere tantrums but each time that I chain my anger and force the smiling mask back onto my face I can't help but think of the release that would come from once....just once letting the beast get control and run rampant. But I won't. Because I can't. Because I know that if I allow myself to be weak just once then what I say and what I do will be remembered and will not be forgiven... at least fully. Because there will always be the knowledge that behind the eyes of the people that I talk to the memory of my words and actions will continously be fresh in their mind as they also don their smiling masks. But there are times where I do feel weak and there are times where I just want to end it all. But I can't. I can't leave like that because I know that there are people out there who love me and I could never hurt them like that. When I stop living for myself anymore I can at the very least live for someone else.

I don't really know why I'm writing this. I've never wanted to burden anyone else with this knowledge. I suppose I'm hoping that actually talking about it will make it better, will make me better but I don't know. The only thing I know is that I'm tired. I'm tired of being awkward, I'm tired of being strange, I'm tired of being the joker, I'm tired of being me. I suppose that's why I wrap myself up in the books, in the plays, and in the games. I'm trying to escape all the while fervently wishing I could be who I've always thought I was deep down instead of who I am. But it is a fool who wraps himself in dreams as unsubstantial as the morning dew and a fool who will find nothing but the harshness of reality peeling away the dreams to reveal the ugly truth.

All I ask is for those who read this not to label it as a rant, a cry for help, a need for pity, or a mere 'emo' post, or anything of the sort. This is how I feel. This is merely truth. This is merely my truth.

Alcohol:Is it nice? & Hard Work:Should we Do it?

You know it's going to be a long day when you have to get up early in the morning to dig a trench. That's pretty much what I've been doing all day: digging a trench. I've had to dig through dirt all day, I've had to dig through concrete all day, I've had to dig a trench ALL DAMN DAY! Needless to say it was not a fun experience which started at the wonderful hour of 10:00AM(I know to some of you that's not so early but I did stay up until around 3:30AM playing D&D) but now at least it's done. I think the worst part was the reason that I was digging the trench. The whole point of the trench is, get this, so my dad can wash his cars. You heard me right. The reason I was digging the trench, or at least the reason I was given, was so my dad could have an easier time washing his cars. Now call me Mr. Silly but I think it would be easier to just get a second hose. But I digress. Like I said before it's done now and I can get on with the day.

Speaking of days as we all know St. Patty's day is nearly upon us(it's next Saturday people!) so I am of course also busy preparing for the day. I've nearly got my whole green outfit ready and I'm working on supplies. I plan to only eat and drink Guinness on that day(allright I'll probably switch to other alcohols if I run out of Guinness but hopefully that won't happen)....okay that's actually exaggeration. I think it would kind of difficult for me to spend a day only on Guinness. Maybe in a year or two I'll be able to do it but unfortunately not this year. Anyways that's about all I've got on my mind at the moment so remember: don't forget to take a ride on the CA-RAZZY train.

Peace out!

Add: One Dog

Well we know have a dog in our family. Yep you read right. To be honest it's still taking a little time for it to sink in with me as well. He's a five year old mix of golden retriever and Aussie sheep dog. His name is Tiki and he's got long, wiry, white hair. He's really nice and extremelly well trained which is cool. We got him yesterday when my folks saw a notice for a free dog somewhere I don't know where. We phoned up the owner and went to go and take a look. When we got there we all decided that he was perfect for the house. The owner must have thought that we were coming to pick him up and bring him home with us even though we were just going to have a look. However, we decided that it would be easier for her if we took Tiki at that moment because it was obvious she was attached to him and didn't want to see him go even though she had to(she was an old woman and she couldn't keep up with Tiki anymore) so we loaded him up and took him home with us.

Tiki's already gotten used to the house. That surprised me since I thought that he'd mope around for a few days before getting used to us but he seemed fine with us as a new family after an hour or so. The only sticking point is that my cat is not happy about the whole thing. We're going to try to wean her to Tiki but it's obvious that it's going to take a lot of work to get used to the fact that we now have a dog. She's been hiding all day so far(she came out of hiding for a bit yesterday) and there's not really much we can do except wait for her to come out of hiding. So yeah the next time you come to my house expect to meet a dog.

P.S.

Okay I can't figure out how to edit blog posts so I'll just add it here. If any of you guys write about me in your 'ten truths about ten people'(gee that sounds like a title for a play) thing then TELL me. I'm not good at figuring these things out...except for Kylan's. So please spare me a lot of head scratching and brain hurting and just tell me if you wrote about me. I promise I won't be aggravated, aggitated, or infuriated or anything like that.

.....but I still love all of ya.

I know I haven't updated my blog in awhile. The reason for this is that I usually see most of you nearly every day so if I need to say or talk about something then I'll just say or talk about it. Plus I'm not really that good at publicly talking about my feelings unless they pertain to things like zombie or vampires or whatever. However, there's been this whole 'ten things about ten people thing' going around so I figure that that's something I can put up. The only problem is that I can't really think of ten things at the minute so give me a little time......wait for it......okay I think I got something.

1. We know she's perfect. We've been hearing that she's been perfect for nearly two god damn years. Enough already!(this one's actually for multiple people)

2. You need to chill out. I mean seriously chill out. Try cutting down on the caffeine or smoke a joint or do whatever you got to do but just chill. Here try this: breathe in, breathe out, take a moment to go ahh, and repeat.

3. You seem to have forgotten when not to say things. While we all value your two cents we don't need to hear with every second sentence that is spoken.

4. I'm sorry but I just don't find you as funny as other people do. I mean whenever you get a load of laughs I can't help but think 'oh he's just being himself' but you know I still love you.

5. You're a hardass sometimes but you know when you're being a hardass and it's probably a good thing that you're a hardass or else we'd just goof off all the time when we should be concentrating on the play.

6. I really don't know what happened to you. You seemed normal when we first met but now...well now's...different and it's sometimes hard to be around you.

7. We've been friends for years and that is one of things that makes me as happy as I am. You've been there during both the good times and the bad times and I wouldn't trade our friendship for anything in the world.

8. You're a great person and I'm certain that we'll both learn how to share #7.

9. I love how I can be random around you and then you'll join in. I mean that's just awesome cabron.

10. This may sound naieve(probably spelled that wrong) to some people but all is forgiven and I still think of you as a good friend.

Well that's ten. To those who I said something negative to remember that I still love everyone and the things I said are just little things that bug me. Trust I'm not harboring any intense hatreds for anyone and when I become the next dictator you'll all be spared I promise(except for you Jordan but we both talked about it and we're both fine with it). I'll try to update more often in the future but until then don't forget to take a ride on the CA-RAZZY train. Peace out!

"Well at least I've still got legs."

Bah I say. Bah! Today I took my (second) driving test and guess what...yep I failed again. However, at least this time I didn't completely fail it was more like I barely failed. I forgot to do some stuff like use my parking brake(who regularly uses a parking brake? I mean really) and shoulder check properly(but I've got make certain that there's no one on my left side...even if I'm turning right) and I took two turns a little fast(I didn't see the slow to 30 sign honest!). Apart from that I did okay I think. I'm going to get some official lessons so I'll be ready for my next test on the 3oth.

I guess what really bugs me about not being able to drive is that as long as I've got my 'L' I can't really ask a girl out on a date. I mean think about it: when you've got a car you can just be 'I'll pick you up at (whatever time you choose)' but if you don't have a car then it's something like 'I'll be at your house at (whatever time is needed) and we can take the 44 to Country Club and....' well you get the picture. It's ridiculous! You can't ask a girl out like that. It's just not cool man.

But as they say third time is the charm and it better be or else ICBC is going to get a bomb in the mail. I remember the good old days when you just went in there, took the test, and you had your license. Bada bing, bada bang, bada boom. Then of course morons who were unfortunately mostly in our age group had to fuck it up by getting in accidents through drinking and driving which of course led to getting themselves killed(personally I think that's Darwin's law in action) so now we all have to go through this shit because of the stupid few. This of course pisses me off to no end because I can actually drive well. I drive at least four or five times a week(albeit with my dad) and I do a damn fine job. My dad thinks I do a damn fine job. It's just when I take the test I screw up a bit because I'm trying to remember all the stuff I'm supposed to do instead of just driving(I know. I know. You're all thinking I should just relax and for the most part I do. Unfortunately I still screw up. Probably because the whole thing is so official.)

You know I personally look at driving the way I look at Stagecraft. I can help build a set. I can't remember half(alright more like 90%) of the terms from the first year but whenever we're building a set I'm there doing the jobs that people tell me to do(actually it's more like I'm there when we're forced to be there. I'm going to help out more this production I promise!). As for driving I can drive well. I can drive rather well in fact but I sometimes forget things like shoulder checks(still use my mirrors though!) and I can get a bit of a heavy foot(who doesn't?) and yada yada yada.

And there you have it: my rant on driving. I've got to say I feel better after writing and I'm definitely going to feel better later tonight when I spend some quality time with a friend of mine. I'll tell you all about him later on but until then I'll say a few things. First off he's a prince of a small island off the mainland, second he's blue, and third you underestimate him at your own risk.

So until next time stay funky, don't forget to take a ride on the crazy train, and, of course, I pray you not to disturb my circles.

Peace!
